Our civil ceremony on the beach [Palm Cove, Australia] was about a half hour, including the photo-taking, so instead of dealing out cash for someone to sing one song, we opted for the boombox so we could make a mix!
These three, all by Sam Cooke, were played before the ceremony:
Sugar Dumpling
You Belong To Me
You Send Me
The next six blared in celebration:
Love Today by MIKA
I Only Want to Be With You by Dusty Springfield
Renee by Panorama Jazz Band
Mardi Gras In New Orleans by Harry Connick, Jr.
Oh, My Nola by Harry Connick, Jr.
Sheik of Araby by Harry Connick, Jr.

All those songs seems to be fantastic..
I wonder if i get a chance to hear them
Great choices in songs. I love Sam Cooke! Way to cut cost too.
Love those beach wedding ceremonies! Hard to drag equipment on a send though!
Congratulations!
Great selection of songs.
congrats!
The songs are great choices. Can’t go wrong with the beach wedding. Great for the young ones, can’t say the same for the older crowd though.
congrats! how about Love Train – great song from the Coors Light commercial.
Congrats, good luck
Harry Connick Jr. showed that he is a true son of New Orleans during Katrina. What a good dude… and good music too.
I love the choice of music. I think that is a much more personal way, you both to choose your favourite songs that have special meanings to you both. Well done!
