Sorry again for the delay in the MLA post, and to think my notes are all here and typed up, but I want to add links and the scratchy sore throat and achey back from coughing all day kept me away from the computer til this evening. I worked on my syllabi instead and watched The Office, of course. Gonna hit the hay now and get back to reading
Since the hurricane I’ve been more attracted to local NOLA writers and bought AC several short story collections that feature the French Quarter and other neighborhoods. This Poppy Z Brite book is the first of a 4 book series about her characters Rickey and G-man and I’m hooked! Her website is as cool as she is AND she’s got a journal!
